A pie chart answers one question: how does the whole split up? Market share, vote share, where the budget went, how people answered. These animated video graphics sweep each slice in one after another, label it with its percentage and list the legend, so the split is readable the moment the last slice lands.

What you can change

  • Two to six slices, each with a label and a value (the chart works out the percentages).
  • A title and subtitle, and number formatting with a prefix, suffix and decimals.
  • The theme: colors, font and corners, or your own brand colors and font.
  • The animation preset, which sets the order and rhythm of the sweep.

Choosing a design

The Classic is the clean base, the Exploded pulls the biggest slice out, the Outline and Sketch designs draw the slices as lines, the Striped fills them with hatching, the Winner keeps only the largest slice in color, the Annotated labels every slice in full, and the Minimal and Floating designs drop the panel.

In the edit

Export an MP4 for a full-frame cutaway or a transparent MOV to float the pie over your own footage in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut. Portrait exports fit Shorts and vertical video.

Frequently asked questions

Do my slice values have to add up to 100?
No. Enter any values, such as vote counts or dollar amounts, and the chart works out each slice's share of the total and labels it as a percentage.
How many slices can a pie chart have?
Two to six. Six is where the slices and legend stay readable at YouTube sizes; combine the small categories into Other for anything longer.
Can I pull one slice out of the pie?
Yes. The Exploded design pulls the largest slice away from the rest, and the Winner design keeps only the largest slice in full color.
Can I use my brand colors for the slices?
Yes. Swap the theme for your own colors and the slices take them in order. A one- or two-color palette is stretched into matching tints so every slice stays distinct.
